Ms. Sudchavee Banjobdee, Vice President - Digital Development, "KTC" or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited, reveals that due to spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of KTC Mobile app downloads by KTC credit cardmembers this year experienced a surge of as high as 15 percent, leading to a decrease of call center calls by 15 percent. The features that are most popular and frequently used by cardmembers include service payments, installment payments, and KTC FOREVER point redemptions. Within this year, KTC plans to move forward with developing its KTC Mobile app to cater to the lifestyles of cardmembers in the Digital Age that are increasingly accustomed to performing various transactions by themselves via the application. Recently, KTC launched the following two new application features:
1) Self ATM PIN Generation: Easily set up a new PIN for free and use it instantly without the need of the old code. This feature helps to eliminate issues and worries in the case that cardmembers have to make an instant cash withdrawal but is unable to remember the old code.
2) More Convenient Online Cash Withdrawals: Cardmembers enjoy the option to transfer money into accounts at over 13 banks.
Currently, the KTC Mobile app has a download count of 1.92 million members, or approximately 84 percent of a total of 2.3 million KTC cardmembers. For 2021, KTC sets a goal of increasing the number of registered members on the KTC Mobile app, and making improvements to the application to make it easier and faster to use, with aims to offer the best user experience to KTC credit cardmembers.
