The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) has appointed MSLGroup Thailand as its public relations (PR) agency for Thailand. The appointment, which begins in May 2021 will see MSLGroup Thailand support HKTB in its communications efforts to bolster HKTB's overall corporate and brand image as Asia's World City.

Going forward, we will work closely with MSLGroup Thailand to review our communications strategies with the aim of strengthening Hong Kong's overall image." said Raymond Chan, Regional Director of South East Asia, Hong Kong Tourism Board.

Although travel is not allowed for the time being, HKTB is ramping up its efforts for tourism recovery in South East Asia. After a series of virtual driven campaigns such as the "100 Reasons to Miss Hong Kong", HKTB is harnessing the power of the community through the "Hong Kong Super Fans" programme, with the purpose of maintaining Hong Kong's share of voice and top-of-mind presence, in preparation for border re-opening between Hong Kong and Thailand.
