CKPower Joins the Battle Against COVID-19 as the Company Contributes to Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital for a Negative-Pressure Isolation Room

Mr. Thanawat Trivisvavet, the Managing Director of CK Power Public Company Limited (CKPower), stock symbol "CKP", expressed concern regarding the third wave of COVID-19. To address this concern, the Company has contributed Baht 1.3 Million to Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital for the construction of a negative-pressure isolation room along with related equipment and negative-pressure air conditioning units. Recently, Ms. Parichat Othayaku, the Assistant Managing Director, represented the Company to donate the fund to Air Chief Marshal Airbull Suttiwa, the Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force at the reception room of the Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) headquarters.

The proposed negative-pressure unit is 85 sq.m. with the capacity to care for 4 patients, while simultaneously preventing the spread of the virus and ensuring the safety of medical professionals who work closely with the COVID-19 patients.

Prior to this, CKPower representatives in the Lao PDR contributed to the financial relief funds of the Lao PDR's Ministry of Health through the Royal Thai Embassy in Vientiane and to the health department of Xayaboury district, Lao PDR, where CKPower is operating two hydroelectrical power plants: the Nam Ngum 2 Hydroelectric Power Plant and the Xayaburi Hydroelectric Power Plant. The donation of Baht 1.5 Million, was made to actively alleviate the effects of this crisis in the Lao PDR.
