Anantara brings a touch of the Summer Olympics to Hua Hin with a family-friendly tennis camp featuring Thailand's best-known tennis star, two time Olympian and Thailand's flagbearer for the 2004 Athens Summer Olympics - Paradorn (Ball) Srichaphan.
Over the course of five days from 25th - 30th July 2021, tennis players young and old can work on their game with the first men's singles player from Asia to be ranked in the ATP Top 10. Throughout his career, Paradorn has faced and beaten legends of the court such as Rafael Nadel, Andre Agassi and Leyton Hewitt.
Paradorn is noted for his politeness on the court. At each match, he performed the traditional Thai Wai, bowing to the four corners of the court, a sincere gesture to thank the fans. His success on the court led to a new generation of tennis lovers in Thailand.
The five-day tennis camp includes accommodation, daily breakfast and a daily two-hour session with Paradorn. Children's classes ranging from ages 5-15 years are held each morning and adult classes are held in the evening. Class sizes range from 6 to 12 players maximum. During the five days students will learn the basic strokes, correct footwork and body movement patterns of tennis. More advanced players will be guided on tactical moves used by the world's top tennis players.
On the evening of the July 29th guests can also enjoy a special dinner with Paradorn who will be happy to share antidotes of his time on the ATP circuit and his experiences of representing Thailand at the Olympics.
