SANSIRI x PLUS Stand By Their Client Residents and Implement Home Isolation Measures Expands on
  • Sansiri and Plus Property looking after residents, personnel and staff of partner firms at PLUS-managed residential developments, which house some 85,000 families. The goal is to build safe communities that allow everybody within to pull through the pandemic.
  • Looking after residents during the Home Isolation period is being achieved via 4 primary measures that comprise inspection, follow-up, coordination and caretaking. Everybody within a residential development is being kept safe.
  • Stands by everybody within the community through the "No One Left Behind" campaign where Sansiri is spending 100 million baht assisting its 4 pillars of society.

Mr. Uthai Uthaisangsuk, Chief Operating Officer, Sansiri Public Company Limited, spoke of the presently unresolved situation of COVID-19 and the current daily infection tally of 15,000-20,000 persons, saying Sansiri has given utmost importance to every Sansiri family's living quality and was concerned for their health.  Sansiri consistently evaluated the situation and laid down accommodating plans, and issued stringent measures for the care of the families.  Most recently, Sansiri allocated 100 million baht towards assisting its "four social pillars" that comprised clients, staff, shareholders and society through the "No One Left Behind" campaign.  The idea is for all of society to pull through together, and Sansiri is determined to account for everybody and leave no one behind in the drive to build a good society and good lives at Sansiri.  On the part of residents, Sansiri is responding to the Home Isolation measure by joining up with Plus Property to look after and facilitate convenience for some 85,000 resident households.  Proactive steps have been taken, with escalation of inspection measures, follow-ups, coordination and convenience facilitation.  The scope of attention extends to the allocation of Sinopharm vaccines under the "We Are Vaccinated" drive, which means the working personnel are now inoculated.  The Sansiri Care Relief Fund, which was initiated with 5 million baht, allows executives to pool money into looking after personnel at residential developments, including those from contractor firms.  This allows workers to carry out their tasks without worry while simultaneously reinforcing safety and peace of mind for the Sansiri family.  Communities are being kept safe, so that society at large may pull through.

Ms. Naruemon Arporntanakul, Assistant Managing Director - Property Management Residential Department at Plus Property, the full-service professional property and facility management agency, revealed that PLUS thus far has implemented comprehensive measures that spanned many dimensions of COVID-19 care and prevention within residential developments.  Proactive steps were taken and the disease situation was closely evaluated, together with constant adjustment of corresponding tactics which enabled efficacy and timely delivery of measures.  Currently, circumstances have given rise to the element of Home Isolation. PLUS is prepared to assist and facilitate convenience for residents who are infected and classified as falling under the green color code, who wish to receive treatment under home isolation - this model of patient care ameliorates the problem of beds shortage for people with more severe symptoms.  PLUS is addressing the home isolation element through 4 primary measures - inspection, follow-up, coordination and caretaking.  1. Inspection yields a count of infected persons and associated information within a residential development.  Phone numbers of family members or emergency contacts are collected from infected persons, while the phone numbers of hospitals in charge of the home isolating patients are kept ready.  2. The management at each project implements follow-up on home-isolating persons by calling or reaching them through Home Service Application every day, in order to get updates on their conditions.  3. Coordination is made with healthcare facilities or relevant agencies in the event that a home isolating patient's condition deteriorates, while efforts are made to coordinate affairs that improve patients' convenience during home isolation.  4. In the caretaking aspect, the management helps take delivery of food, parcels and any essential items and take them up to the front door of each home isolating person.  Intensive cleaning is carried out in the hallway of floors that housed isolating patients.  A schedule is set up for collecting trash from the front of each patient's room.  Furthermore, drinking water and Andrographis are given to the home isolating residents.

On top of servicing residents during home isolation, PLUS stringently maintains pre-emptive courses of action to prevent the spread of COVID-19 within residential project.  Screening is applied to people before they enter project grounds while cleaning and disinfecting is regularly carried out within the project.  A protocol exists for patient transport, updates of the COVID-19 situation as well as information and contacts of nearby healthcare facilities and hospitels are conveyed through notices and the Home Service application.  Special activities are arranged, such as video calls with psychotherapists who help residents reduce their anxiety during the COVID period.  Vegetables and fruit, and sometimes their processed forms, are yielded from the edible garden within a project and shared with residents. PLUS is growing Andrographis and fingerroot plants at the 230 residential projects it services, with an aim to distribute their processed forms to residents in the future.

"PLUS is pressing ahead in supporting the No One Left Behind campaign by collaborating with Sansiri to provide assistance and care to every family within our residential developments.  100% of PLUS personnel are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, and therefore are ready to care for residents and provide any assistance.  Most recently, we brought Andrographis to share with residents who were home isolation patients.  The items were sourced from farmers, and helped to dissipate income to small vendors.  In its role as the juristic person management team at condominiums and housing estates, PLUS is standing alongside every resident family and helping out to its best extent.  The scope of care has been extended to personnel from contractor firms such as housekeepers, security guards and gardeners who need to perform their duties inside the projects, in the hope of enabling everybody at our residential developments to live in safe communities and for us to get through this together," said Ms. Naruemon.
