Introducing the first-ever IKEA Festival, a 24-hour virtual event, enjoy home tours around the world filled with pleasures and inspirations on 16 September

IKEA introduced the first-ever IKEA Festival from IKEA global collaborations as an entertainment fest, and a source of inspirations and trends for future living. Enjoy the line-up of artists, designers, DJs, chefs, and renowned celebrities including Virgil Abloh, the designer and founder of OFF-WHITE; The Pasta Queen (Nadia Caterina Munno), the celebrated Italian chef; NIKI, a global artist with chart topping songs; YONLAPA, an indie artist group from Chiang Mai, and others. IKEA Thailand joins to celebrate the best of life at home by offering content for IKEA fans in Thailand staged for the IKEA Festival, where IKEA experts will offer tips in selecting the right furniture and accessories for Thai homes, showcasing solutions in various room settings which are practical and easy to adapt, as well as introducing a Thai-Swedish fusion menu for making your living at home better with IKEA here.

In a time when life at home has never been so important, IKEA will open the door to better living by throwing a festival that can be experienced both online and in many IKEA stores around the world. IKEA is collaborating with music artists, chefs, designers and creators to turning living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and backyards into virtual stages for performances and experiences, set in their everyday homes, studios, and neighbourhoods worldwide. All in all, the IKEA Festival will take place in over 100 homes in more than 50 markets across the world, and the experience is for free, open to everyone.

The festival set up and program

The festival takes place on IKEA.com/festival reflecting the most important thing at home, that is being with family and friends, music and food, which is represented in the experiences in these rooms. There are also rooms for discussions on current topics and IKEA news to offer visitors a broad choice of experiences.

Interior design fans are invited through the doors in countries around the world to get home makeover inspirations and see how designers and current and former IKEA collaborators create their work in their own unique spaces.

Visitors can also experience cook-offs, challenges and home visits where both healthy, planet-friendly and no-waste recipes are shared. There will be discussions around the kitchen table on the important topics of circularity, air, play and spaces.

Get ready to see artists perform intimate concerts from their homes and studios and join DJ relays. Gamers will also find the new IKEA gaming range specially designed for them. And IKEA will open its doors to virtual experiences, from the factory floor in Zb?szynek, Poland, to the prototype shop in ?lmhult, Sweden, and IKEA museum taking visitors back in time to explore the diverse history of the brand over the decades.
