Ms. Kattiya Indaravijaya, Chief Executive Officer, KASIKORNBANK (KBank), recently represented the Bank to sign the Statement of Commitment for Sustainable Thailand 2021, which declares its commitment to conducting business with responsibility, based on the principles for sustainable investment and banking that are aligned with the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and the Paris Agreement. The Statement of Commitment for Sustainable Thailand 2021 is aimed at building a sustainable future for Thailand, and promoting the Thai financial and investment sectors to adopt responsible business conduct that is on par with the required international standards in accordance with the UN's proposal. KBank and 42 other organizations jointly signed the Statement at the Sustainable Thailand 2021 event, which was organized by the Government Pension Fund (GPF) in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance, and the UN.
KBank has steered its organization based on the international standards of responsible banking. Moreover, it conducts business in line with the UN Principles for Responsible Banking (UN PRB) of the United Nations Environmental Program Finance Initiative (UNEP FI).
