Betagro Group, Thailand's leading quality food manufacturer, enters a major business venture with Kerry Express, Thailand's delivery service leader, to establish a new company called Kerry Betagro Company Limited and to launch a new Kerry Cool business. Kerry Betagro will be the first company in Thailand to offer a high technology cold delivery platform with world class quality service at an affordable price. Kerry Cool service appropriately applies the principle of Hub-and-Spoke delivery method and covers both cold fresh and frozen food products. The service will be available around the end of this year and will be in full operation in the second quarter of 2022.

This new delivery service uses the international standard Cold Delivery Platform with cold trucks that connect and update information via satellite allowing for a real-time delivery status display. In addition, the temperature inside the trucks is controlled along the whole selected routes," said Mr. Vasit Taepaisitphongse, Betagro Group's Chief Executive Officer and President.

Kerry Cool's service covers walk-in customers at Kerry Express branches and Betagro shops as well as D2D Booking, a service to pick up packages at home. Consumers can book a delivery truck to pick up a package at their house via their mobile phone application and website. Some business operators will be able to use the service around the end of this year, and the service will be fully operational in the second quarter of 2022.
