BMN partners with J&T Express to introduce

Bangkok Metro Networks Limited or BMN, which operates advertising media development business and commercial areas inside MRT stations, in collaboration with J&T Express Thailand, Thailand's major logistics business operator and a service provider of express parcel delivery across the country, introduces "Anywhere MRT Anywhere J&T" campaign to expand J&T Express service points inside 32 MRT Blue Line stations. All 32 branches are all opened today, both as standalone shops and shops in the Metro Mall area to allow MRT passengers and those who live nearby the stations to be able to conveniently send parcels throughout Thailand via J&T Express channels. The campaign is a revolutionary for commercial areas of the MRT stations as they become more fully integrated under the concept of The Happy Commercial Hub of MRT.

Mr. Witsuwat Amkaphet, Managing Director at Bangkok Metro Networks Limited (BMN), said "After the government has relaxed COVID restrictions, the number of passengers traveling by MRT and using services at the Metro Malls has continuously increased. Especially during the past few months as lockdown measures were eased, we found that BMN's commercial leased space in the MRT stations has attracted more attention. Therefore, BMN is encouraged to find the right partner to answer to the lifestyle of our customers, mainly passengers of the MRT. We have continuously studied the behavior and lifestyle of the customers and changing trends to be able to fulfill the needs of different lifestyle in each segment and in each station. Through the concept of "Put the Right Brand in the Right Location", we are committed to find the right shops to match the needs of our customers in each area."

"In the year 2021, logistics business is continuously growing. BMN has recently decided to collaborate with J&T Express to expand J&T Express service points inside the area of 32 out of a total of 38 MRT Blue Line stations, covering an area of 19 districts of Bangkok. The service points come in a form of standalone shops inside the stations and shops in the Metro Mall area. MRT passengers and those who live nearby the stations will be able to send parcels to anywhere in Thailand via J&T Express channels in a way that is faster and more convenient. In the future, we also plan to expand J&T Express service points in the MRT Blue Line to cover all 38 stations to revolutionize the lifestyle in the commercial area of the MRT stations, making them to be fully integrated under the concept of "The Happy Commercial Hub of MRT", which is considered as one of BMN's strategies to improve the area to become a Bangkok destination that will not only fulfill the lifestyles of MRT users, but will also expand the customer base in each area to be wider and more comprehensive. We have an in-depth analysis to lay out the concept of new areas and select the brands by taking into account how we can support the businesses in the surrounding areas of the MRT Blue Line in the best way possible," added Mr. Witsuwat.
