Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) expected that in the first quarter, the number of domestic tourists will reach 27.1 million tourists, which generates 137,712 million baht of revenue, while for the foreign market,

the number of foreign tourists will reach 338,645 tourists, which generates 26,065 million baht of revenue and these figures are expected to increase by the middle and end of the year.

Therefore, entrepreneurs in tourism, hotel, restaurant, and service providing businesses should rush to make some adjustments to take up tourism that shall gradually be restored from the first quarter down to the high tourist season at the end of the year.
