Schneider Electric announces ambitious goals to overperform the market in 2022

Schneider Electric, the leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, today announced the outperforming results for 2021 globally and in Thailand. Key achievements are mainly from company's resiliency and ability to capture potential different markets growth. The company also share a strong vision towards a sustainable future, helping businesses, industries, and all sectors collectively fight against the climate change through digital transformation journey in line with climate ambition and their own commitments towards sustainability.

Stephane Nuss, Cluster President, Thailand, Myanmar and Laos, Schneider Electric said 2021 has been a record year for Schneider Electric globally with the highest ever revenues of EUR29 billion, up +12.7% organic growth and profits generated, all with very strong year-over-year progression. In Thailand, Schneider Electric has also successfully bring the business back to the pre-pandemic level with the highest revenues ever.

"Since the world is uncertain and changing with the pandemic is being still very present, delivering such a performance in TH with those market conditions is a fantastic achievement. This shows the resilience of our company, our ability to adapt ourselves to the new world and also the fact that we are positioned on key growing markets, which are sustainability and digitization," he said.

2022: Moving towards Sustainability
This year, Schneider Electric continues to fight with the climate change to move towards the net-zero economies and sustainability. Accelerating the digitization, decarbonzination and sustainable transformations among businesses, industrial enterprise while operating to outperform the Thai market are top priorities in 2022.

According to a recent study conducted by Schneider Electric and GreenBiz Research, organizations that actively manage for climate change see an average 67 per cent higher return on equity compared to companies that do not. And the latest World Economic Forum research reveals that companies which focus on environmental initiatives have been growing by an annual rate of 15%.
