Dentsu volunteers contribute to the goal of zero waste in a sustainable world on One Day for Change

Dentsu International Thailand recently organised One Day for Change 2022, a global volunteering event with the theme "Zero Waste in a Sustainable World," to raise awareness of waste reduction campaigns to zero in order to create a more sustainable world for all.

This year, Dentsu Thailand organised a campaign activity with the concept 'Be a GREEN HERO,' bringing together hero powers representing over 200 employees from CARAT (Thailand), iProspect (Thailand), Amplifi (Thailand), dentsu X (Thailand), dentsu one (Bangkok), dentsu mcgarrybowen (Thailand), ISOBAR (Thailand), and dentsu Holdings (Thailand) to participate in the campaign activity to reduce waste as well as learn about how to properly and concretely manage various types of waste that have increased in volume as a result of the Working from Home period, such as paper boxes, plastic waste, leftovers in the house, and food left over from eating in the refrigerator, etc.

As part of this year's One Day for Change, dentsu Thailand organised a waste sorting learning activity for employees and invited them to bring plastic waste, paper waste, and other waste to donate to an organisation that specialises in converting recycled plastic and waste into renewable energy and recycled products in order to recycle waste efficiently. The management team of dentsu Thailand, led by Ms. Wimonrat Mahajindawong, Country Chief Financial Officer (3rd from right), Mr. Wisarn Sirijantanon, Chief Executive Officer of dentsu Thailand Media Service Line and CARAT (Thailand) (3rd from left), Ms. Aichanyar Vattanapornvarakul, CEO of iProspect (Thailand) (4th from right), Mr. Sarnchatt Chansrakao, CEO of dentsu X (Thailand) (2nd from left), Ms. Jaruwan Niratisai, President of Amplifi (Thailand) (Starting from left), Mr. Taku Morikami, Managing Director of dentsu Thailand Creative (Starting from right) and Mr. Chasesada Lovanich, Managing Director of Amplifi (Thailand) (2nd from right) recognised this activity by joining as a representative to deliver over 100 kilogrammes of recycled plastic and waste to N15 Technology Co., Ltd., led by Mr. Somboon Kittianong, General Manager (5th from right) and Ms. Getthip Hannarong, Founder & CEO of Zero Waste YOLO (4th from left) , to be representative, which specialises in converting recycled plastic and waste into renewable.Furthermore, dentsu Thailand has organised the One Day for Change activity for the seventh year in a row to be a part of the celebration of Dentsu's 121st anniversary on July 1, 2022.
