DoubleTree by Hilton Phuket Banthai Resort is pleased to announce Christoph Weidemann's appointment as its general manager with effect from August 2022. In his new role, Christoph will lead the hotel's strategic operations and growth, with the goal of further enhancing the brand's value in Phuket and the resort's commercial focus.
An accomplished hotel professional, Christoph has a demonstrated history of effective leadership and hotel operations management, having undertaken key leadership positions across Hilton properties in Thailand, China, Japan, Myanmar and Malaysia. Most recently, he was general manager for the upcoming DoubleTree by Hilton Damai Laut Resort's pre-opening operations, a role he took on after leading Hilton Nay Pyi Taw as its hotel manager.
Christoph's latest appointment marks his return to Phuket, where he commenced his career with the global hospitality firm as a management trainee in 2003.
