Krungsri introduces urgent measures to assist retail  and business banking customers affected by flooding

Krungsri (Bank of Ayudhya PCL and its business units) issued urgent customer assistance measures for Retail and Business Banking customers impacted by the current flooding situation.

Mr. Phonganant Thanattrai, Krungsri Head of Retail and Consumer Banking, said "Krungsri is concerned about customers impacted by the widespread flooding in many areas across the country. The Bank, therefore, issued urgent and immediate assistance measures to help retail customers covering both mortgage loan and personal loan customers, Business Banking customers as well as Krungsri Auto customers, who are affected by the situation mentioned above."

The relief measures comprise:
For customers of mortgage and personal loans

  • A grace period on principal repayment up to 6 months

For customers of Business Banking loans (small businesses)

  • A grace period on principal repayment up to 6 months
  • Installment amount reduction up to 85% and for up to 12 months

For Krungsri Auto customers (both auto hire-purchase and auto refinancing)

  • A grace period of both principal and interest repayment up to 3 months
  • Installment amount reduction with an extension of repayment period*

In addition, Krungsri customers holding the following policies; 1) fire insurance for residential and business property, 2) Krungsri Home Prompt 3) Krungsri Sabsin Aunjai can call the 24-hour AAGI Call Center 1292 to file a claim due to flood disaster.

"Krungsri will continue to monitor the situation closely to assess the impacts and be ready to provide further assistance to customers," Mr. Phonganant added.

Mortgage loan and personal loan customers, and Business Banking customers affected by flooding can ask for more information and apply for relief measures from now until 30 November 2022 at www.krungsri.com, Krungsri Call Center 1572, or visit Krungsri branches nationwide.
