"Thonglor" Thai Cuisine, a restaurant for authentic traditional Thai food lovers, introduces an "All you Can Eat" buffet featuring local dishes from the four regions of Thailand meticulously created by young chefs who won awards in several national competitions. Each dish is freshly cooked using fine ingredients including organic vegetables and quality meat. Customers can enjoy a 2-hour long buffet with signature dishes, desserts and herbal drinks, in total of 30 menu items, at 790++ baht per person.
First, Northern Thai dishes include "Northern Thai-Style Pork Curry", originated from Myanmar with the intense flavor from homemade curry and pork that has been stewed for two hours, "Northern Thai-Style Spicy Minced Pork Salad", containing minced pork mixed with various herbs and nice aroma from Makwaen chili, "Rice Noodles with Northern Thai-Style Spicy Soup", "Stir-fried Ceylon Spinach with Oyster Sauce", "Makwaen Chili Jam", and "Thai Spicy Ceylon Spinach Salad with Prawn".
Next, central Thai dishes are "Thai Salad with Chicken and Vegetables with Coconut Curry Dressing", a traditional dish that dates back to the reign of King Rama V which comprises soft boiled long shredded vegetables including morning glory, banana blossom, eggplant, bean sprout, winged bean and bell pepper and shredded chicken served with red curry dressing, "Green Curry with Fish Balls", "Rice Noodles with Fish Curry Sauce, Fish Balls and Coconut Milk", "Chicken Massaman Curry with Three Sweet Potatoes", "Crispy Rice Cake with Shrimp, Peanut and Coconut Dipping", "Pork Curry Seasoned with Fermented Shrimp Paste Chili Relish", Hot and Sour Coconut Cream Soup with Boiled Banana and Chicken and "Egg and Pork in Sweet Palm Sugar Brown Gravy".
For Northeastern Thai dishes, there are "Spicy Bamboo Shoot Soup with Yanang Leaves", young bamboo shoot boiled with Yanang leaves, acacia leaves, hairy basil and mixed mushrooms, "Ground Chili Paste with Mackerel and Grilled Herbs with Local Fresh Vegetables", "Papaya Salad with Crab and Fermented Fish", "Papaya Salad with Salted Egg", "Crispy Fried Chicken Thigh with Fish Sauce", and "Rice Noodles in Fish Curry Sauce with Chicken".
Lastly, Southern Thai dishes include "Curry with Chicken and Banana Stalk", homemade Southern curry with banana stalk, chicken thigh and coconut milk, "Thai Rice Noodles with Peanut Sauce", "Thai Spicy Fish Soup with Rice Noodles", "Spicy and Sour Yellow Curry with Sea Bass, Lotus Stems and Pineapple", "Pork Belly with Sour Chamuang Leaves", "Spicy Shrimp Dipping Relish with Lime Rind", "Stir-fried Beef with Tree Basil Leaves", "Thai Fish Cakes", and "Stir-fried Bitter Beans, Pickled Garlic, and Acacia".
