Michelin Star Chef Fernando P. Arellano from Zaranda Restaurant Mallorca, Spain Returns To UNO MAS Restaurant

This November, UNO MAS restaurant is excited to welcome back Chef Fernando P. Arellano of the highly acclaimed, Michelin star "Zaranda" restaurant in Mallorca, Spain.

For two days only, this award-winning chef will be hosting a specially curated tasting menu at Bangkok's 54th-floor UNO MAS restaurant ? known for its blend of both authentic and creative Spanish and Mediterranean cuisine.

Chef Fernando P. Arellano will be with us in Bangkok on the 25th and 26th of November 2022.

Fernando Perez Arellano (Madrid 1978) developed most of his experience working in different countries where, in addition to the achievement of cooking skills, he developed his language abilities.

Having trained in some of Europe's best restaurants he gained the experience required to take on his own restaurant.

In September 2005, he opened Zaranda, a tiny modest restaurant in Madrid.

After 11 months being open, Zaranda received its first star in the Michelin Guide and later, was also awarded two rosettes in the Repsol Guide.

Five years later, Zaranda and all his team faced a new challenge moving their project to Mallorca.

In November 2015, he received his second Michelin Star after 10 years from its opening. During the last years, Zaranda was named second best hotel restaurant in Spain for the national newspaper "El Pa?s"

In 2020, the restaurant was relocated within the Es Princep hotel in Palma's old town (Mallorca) where it has been recognized of its first Michelin star just after the opening.

At UNO MAS, highlight taste experiences to look forward to on his multi-course menu include "Majorica Oyster" freshly shucked pickled pearls, horseradish & caviar, "Amphora" slightly spicy rock octopus All I pebre, "The Black Egg" white onion and cuttlefish caviar, "Seared Amberjack", roasted red peppers coulis and piquillo pepper leather, "Spanish Wagyu Beef" coal grilled endive, crispy pulled beef, "Sweet Burrata", goat milk cream & skin, strawberries, and basil.

This set menu is priced at THB 3,499++ per person
