dwp | design worldwide partnership is proud to announce the growth of their Bangkok studio through the appointment of local and international talent to help support their team's growing project pipeline and their innovative launch into AI generative design and technology.
Ms. Sarinrath Kamolratanapiboon, dwp Executive Director, says, "dwp is a firm that provides architectural and interior design services around the world. We have studios in Asia, Australia and the Middle East and are one of the first companies to integrate new technologies into our services. We have teams with high experience and racial diversity, so we are equipped with a deep understanding of different cultures. This results in our continuous commitment to create unique design outcomes and experiences for our clients, both new and returning. In 2022, we achieved a market growth of 15%. With new creative directors added to the team, we expect the growth for 2023 to reach 30%.
A capricious global environment, ever changing consumer needs, and an overall industry shift towards more technology assisted design, calls for a strong team, equipped and able to react and deliver according to these variables. To strengthen the Bangkok team dwp recently appointed Mr. Thomas Meier as Creative Design Director. Thomas brings a deep understanding of the latest design trends and technologies that will help us to stay at the forefront of the industry.
Thomas has an abundance of experience and expertise in lifestyle and retail design, as well as AI generative design and technology. With a proven track record of delivering innovative and impactful design solutions, Thomas will play a crucial role in supporting the dwp Design Council and implementing the company's design vision and strategy.
Thomas will lead the company's efforts in the rapidly growing field of AI generative design which will allow us to achieve output in a third of the time compared to conservative methods. He will work closely with the company's leadership team to develop and implement design strategies that incorporate the latest technology across all studios, challenging our workflow and methodology. He will be responsible for overseeing all design projects in our Bangkok studio across 3 portfolios: Lifestyle, Community and Workplace.
With particular interest and expertise in retail design Thomas will work closely with our lifestyle creative team, bringing value in strategic planning, mixed-use architecture to store design, all with the goal of achieving increased brand awareness, customer engagement and sales.
Mr. Robert Troup, dwp Managing Director, says, "As we are a multidisciplinary firm that focuses on architectural and interior designs, I believe that our strength is our team members who are highly skilled in this field and are ready to create high-quality work for both domestic and international clients. That is why we constantly recruit new potential team members to strengthen the diversity of the projects. I believe Thomas is a great fit and aligns with dwp's operational plans looking forward, which includes expanding our business both in Thailand and the region, strengthening the team and meeting the needs of clients who show us continuous support by returning to dwp for further design services."
"I am thrilled to join the DWP team, driven by passion for innovation and sustainability, and I look forward to collaborating towards a shared vision of a better future. Bringing expertise to lead the dedicated team in creating the best design for our clients, tapping into their full potential and meeting all goals through collective efforts and enhanced with artificial intelligence." - Thomas Meier, Studio Creative Director.
