Avani Sukhumvit Bangkok Hotel is proud to announce its participation in the upcoming World Environment Day, celebrated annually on 5 June, to contribute to a sustainable future. As part of this significant occasion, the hotel has pledged its support to Soontharomettaprachasan School, located in Phatumthani province, which is actively engaged in environmental conservation and sustainable practices.
Soontharomettaprachasan School has embarked on an innovative project focused on self-sufficiency and ecological balance by cultivating their own vegetables and raising fish, ducks, and chickens for eggs. Additionally, the school aims to conserve energy and promote sustainability by implementing a solar system for their irrigation needs.
Recognizing the school's admirable efforts, Avani Sukhumvit Hotel decided to extend its support to this project. The hotel organized a series of internal garage sales, engaging its passionate team members. Through their collective efforts and dedication, Avani Sukhumvit Hotel successfully raised a substantial amount of THB 10,000, which will be donated to the School to further enhance their sustainable initiatives.
