The Netherlands Embassy Hosts Aviation Executive Dinner to Bolster Collaboration between Thailand and the Netherlands
The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Bangkok in collaboration with the Netherlands Enterprise Agency and the Netherlands Aerospace Group (NAG) organised the Executive Dinner on 29 June 2023. The event aimed to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Thailand and the Netherlands in the field of smart and sustainable aviation.
The executive dinner took place at Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao and brought together key representatives from airports, airlines, and related aviation sector companies. The Dutch delegation included representatives from To70, NACO, Vanderlande, and Ooms Producten, renowned organizations in the Dutch aviation industry.
During the dinner, the distinguished speakers, including Mrs.Latchida Apaphant, Executive Vice President (Corporate Strategy) of Airports of Thailand (AOT), and Miss Sariya Taweesang Chief internal Coordination Officer of U-Tapao International Aviation Company Limited, shared valuable insights on the development of various airports in Thailand, highlighting the country's commitment to the advancement of the aviation sector and welcomed by Mr. Wuttisak Pichayagan, General Manager and Napatsawan Sithirangsun, Sales & Marketing Director, Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao.
Ms. Miriam Otto, Deputy Ambassador and Head of Economic and Political Department of the Netherlands Embassy, welcomed all participants and stated, "Tonight is the first time key aviation players from both countries meet under one roof. I am confident that connections formed here will pave the way for future partnerships on sustainable growth."
By strengthening collaboration and knowledge-sharing between the two nations, the Netherlands Embassy, together with the Netherlands Aerospace Group (NAG - https://nag.aero) aims to address common challenges faced by both countries, and to promote sustainable development and technological advancements of the aviation industry.
