Rajadamnern Muay Thai Stadium operated by Global Sports Ventures Company Limited (or GSV) has announced partnership with Grab Thailand to promote "Muay Thai" (or Thai boxing) among foreign tourists in a bid to boost Thailand's sports tourism. Through an investment of more than 100 million baht, this partnership is another significant move for GSV to attract more international fans of Muay Thai which currently account for 70% of the stadium's total visitors. After the recent rebranding and renovation together with more events added in its weekly Muay Thai schedule, numbers of foreigners visitors has reached a rapid growth of 16 times. GSV and Grab will jointly promote Muay Thai fights through online and offline media, marketing activities, as well as discounts on tickets and Grab mobility services to be offered to foreign tourists in the latter half of this year.
