Recently (23 - 24 June), 50 volunteers from PwC Thailand, led by Paiboon Tunkoon, Assurance Partner and Corporate Responsibility Leader (middle row on the left), hosted the 11th 'Support the Rangers, Save the Forest', at Chaloem Phrakiat Thai Prachan National Park in Ratchaburi province. The national park and its surroundings, including local communities and the Ban Suan Phung School, were recently declared as a 'World Heritage' site.
The PwC volunteers engaged in conservation activities such as cultivating seedlings and planting trees, as well as donating equipment for extinguishing wildfires, such as high-pressure water hoses and water pumps, to the national park service authorities. They also painted and repaired the school buildings and donated necessary utensils to the Ratchaburi home for children with disabilities.
The purpose of the Support the Rangers, Save the Forest activity is to collaboratively conserve forests and wildlife while also contributing back to society.
