The Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) is set to welcome the '68th Bangkok Gems & Jewelry Fair' as it celebrates its ruby jubilee. Also known as the '68th Bangkok Gems & Jewelry Fair', this event holds a prestigious position as one of the world's five major gems and jewelry trade fairs. It stands as Thailand's largest and Asia's longest-celebrated gems and jewelry trade fair, a testament to its significance in the industry. Encompassing 8 halls of the QSNCC, the fair will span 5 days, from September 6th to 10th, 2023.
The 68th Bangkok Gems & Jewelry Fair, a collaborative effort between the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) and the Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand (GIT), is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. Under the theme '40 Years of Brilliance, this event resonates with the impressive growth of Thailand's renowned gems and jewelry industry, recognized on a global scale. At the heart of the fair lie captivating highlights, including the exhibition 'The Magnificent 40-Year Journey of Brilliance,' which showcases the grandeur of Thailand's gems and jewelry industry. With more than 1,100 exhibitors filling 2,400 booths, this event stands as a pivotal trading platform, facilitating crucial business negotiations between Thai entrepreneurs and international buyers. The event is expected to draw over 30,000 attendees, both local and international, and generate more than 3 billion baht in revenue. Beyond these impressive numbers, the fair expands business opportunities, supports export activities, and reinforces Thailand's role as a significant global hub for the gems and jewelry trade.
