Bangkok Bank is expanding its banking agent network to welcome the golden dragon year by appointing So Smart Tech Co., Ltd. to provide cash deposit and withdrawal services at 5,000 Term Dee kiosks nationwide 24 hours a day. The service is maintained under the highest security standards. The minimum deposit starts at 1 baht. The Bank is continually expanding its banking agent network to enable customers from any lifestyle to make transactions conveniently anywhere, anytime. The value of transactions made via banking agents in 2023 increased by more than 20%.
Bangkok Bank Executive Vice President Prassanee Ouiyamaphan said Bangkok Bank is continually expanding its collaboration with strong partners in each industry to develop financial products and services and deliver better transactional experiences. The Bank has recently appointed So Smart Tech Co., Ltd. as Bangkok Bank's newest banking agent to provide cash deposit and withdrawal services via 5,000 Term Dee kiosks nationwide, especially in provincial and remote areas. This will enable a wider group of customers to deposit and withdraw cash more conveniently 24 hours a day under the highest security standards. Customers simply use a smart Citizen ID card, Bangkok Bank account number and mobile phone number to deposit cash, starting at 1 baht, and withdraw cash, starting at 100 baht.
"This collaboration with So Smart Tech, a provider of Term Dee kiosks, as a Bangkok Bank agent will provide more convenient services to the Bank's customers, especially those in remote areas. It also enables customers to deposit and withdraw cash anytime using the highest security standards. Cash deposits and withdrawals by Bangkok Bank customers via a banking agent in 2023 increased by 20% from last year. For cash deposits, the transaction value starts from 1 - 5,000 baht/transaction with a maximum of 40,000 baht/day/customer and a combined transaction value (all banking agents) up to 100,000 baht/day/customer.
