Thai Vietjet Air Joint Stock Company Ltd (TVJ), the leading new-age carrier in Thailand, is gearing up for substantial fleet and network expansion to meet the increasing demand for air travel.
As a part of its expansion plan, Thai Vietjet will take delivery of up to 50 new airplanes in 5 years, starting from early 2025.
To respond to the future job demand of professional pilots for such an aggressive fleet expansion, Thai Vietjet, in close collaboration with Bangkok Aviation Center Public Company Ltd (BAC), will very soon be launching a new recruitment campaign for cadet pilots, a comprehensive training program to develop qualified professional commercial airline pilots.
Under Thai Vietjet's cadet pilots program, BAC will be responsible for the training of Commercial Pilot License (CPL), whereas Thai Vietjet will handle the aircraft type rating training. Upon successful completion of the whole training program, the students will have guarantee employment taking controls as First Officer of Thai Vietjer's commercial jetliners.
Under the recently signed Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) between Thai Vietjet and BAC, both will jointly design and create a rigorous selection process and stringent quality monitoring system to ensure the production of the highest quality of professional commercial airline pilots.
