BTS Group Holdings PCL was awarded the "Top 1%" in S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment at the S&P Sustainability Yearbook 2024 Distinction Ceremony by S&P Global. Mr. Daniel Ross, Chief Investment Officer & Head of Sustainability at BTS Group, and Mrs. Chitkasem Moo-Ming, Chief Financial Officer at VGI PCL were in attendance as the Company's representatives at the ceremony held at Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen's Park.
This award symbolizes BTS Group's deep-rooted commitment to sustainability, with the Company having been ranked as the world's most sustainable transportation company for the 4th consecutive year, leading the Top 1% of Transportation and Transportation Infrastructure sector within the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2024.
Produced by S&P Global, The Sustainability Yearbook 2024 is based on the 2023 Corporate Sustainability Assessment, which assessed 9,400 companies across 62 industries on their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance. To be listed in the Sustainability Yearbook, companies must achieve a score within the top 15% of their industry and an S&P Global Sustainability Score within 30% of their industry's top-performing company in the S&P Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA). This year, a mere 66 companies worldwide have been ranked in the Top 1%.
Out of the 759 companies worldwide to be included in the 2024 Sustainability Yearbook, only 47 companies were from Thailand. Beyond this, BTS Group Holdings PCL conquered the Transportation and Transportation Infrastructure sector with the highest ESG score of out of 25 industry peers.
