GreenYellow Contributes Solar Panels to Chulalongkorn University Project, Advancing Sustainable Development

GreenYellow, a leading energy turnkey service provider in solar projects and energy efficiency, proudly announces its recent contribution to the Volunteer Camp Project, Faculty of Engineering of Chulalongkorn University. This donation of solar panels underscores GreenYellow's commitment to sustainable development and environmental preservation.

This 170,000-baht initiative was introduced to GreenYellow by Export-Import Bank of Thailand, reflecting the shared vision of both organizations for sustainable development and environmental conservation. The solar panels donated by GreenYellow will be integrated into community projects initiated by Chulalongkorn University. These panels will be installed at strategic locations to enhance water supply systems and establish community electricity systems in underserved areas. Notable locations include Ko San Phra Temple in Ratchaburi province, Lan Sak district in Uthai Thani province, and Huai Nam Phia, where 20 panels will be utilized for household electricity.

The Chulalongkorn University project aims to revitalize ecosystems and promote sustainable practices within communities. Through reforestation efforts and the establishment of water systems powered by solar energy, the project seeks to enhance environmental resilience, mitigate soil degradation, and reduce air pollution.
Frank Glueck, CEO of GreenYellow Thailand and Asia, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, "We are happy to support Chulalongkorn University's impactful project. This continuous collaboration with EXIM Bank of Thailand signifies a significant step towards a sustainable future, as we are inherently committed to environmentally friendly and sustainable development."

Mr. Glueck added, "GreenYellow's actions are fully in line with the fight against climate change, and our projects are bolstered by the rise of national policies favoring renewable energy. The Chulalongkorn University initiative, centered on reforestation and the implementation of solar-powered water systems, seeks to rehabilitate ecosystems, and foster sustainable practices within communities. This initiative will not only create a thriving ecosystem for the community but also address issues such as soil deterioration from monoculture crops and the preservation of watershed areas. Furthermore, it will serve as a catalyst for the community to earn CO2 credits, further incentivizing sustainable practices."

GreenYellow offers comprehensive energy solutions that cover every aspect from financing and licensing to design, construction, operation, monitoring, and maintenance?all included in the Solar Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) and Energy Efficiency solutions at no extra cost. Embracing solar energy and reducing energy consumption, GreenYellow's approach is in line with the Thai government's ambitious targets, aiming to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 40% by 2030 and achieve net-zero emissions by 2050.
