Frasers Property (Thailand) Public Company Limited's industrial business, together with Mitsui Fudosan Asia Development (Thailand) Company Limited, has announced an investment in the development of new distribution centres, including two buildings within the premises of Frasers Property Logistics Park (Bangna 2) in the Free Zone area on Bangna-Trat Road, km. 46, Bang Pakong District, Chachoengsao Province. This new project is strategically located within the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), aligning with Thailand's strategic focus on industrial and logistics development to support the growth of new and rapidly expanding S-Curve industries.
The new Free Zone Warehouse spans over 25,000 square metres and can accommodate a weight capacity of three tonnes per square metre with a ceiling height of 10 metres. It integrates smart and sustainable design concepts of the Frasers Property Logistics Park project, which operates using intelligent systems and is the first in Thailand to be managed sustainably, meeting the demands of customers for high-quality warehouse facilities. This warehouse offers flexible and diverse usage options along with comprehensive service solutions.
Moreover, it distinguishes itself by adhering to the Thai Rating of Energy and Environmental Sustainability (TREES) standards, emphasising the selection of construction materials with recycled content and low volatile organic compounds (VOCs), as well as efficient energy management practices to minimise environmental impact. Completion of this distribution centre is expected in November 2024.
