In a groundbreaking move towards sustainability, Etix Everywhere is proud to announce its commitment to green energy solutions for data centers in Thailand.
Etix Everywhere has already deployed over 6,000 square meters of solar panels on its data center ETIX Bangkok#1 located in Bang Chalong. This solar power production impressively accounts for 11% of the total energy consumption of the data center.
The photovoltaic panels on the roof of the ETIX Bangkok #1 data center alone save the emission of 480 tons of CO2 annually. This is equivalent to removing 580 cars from the road each year or planting 23,000 trees.
This is only the first step of ETIX Everywhere development toward sustainability. In 2025, 100% of the electricity consumed at ETIX Bangkok#1 data center will be generated from a renewable energy resource either hydroelectricity or solar electricity. With 100% of the electricity consumed under Renewable Energy Certificate, this will allow any of ETIX Everywhere customers to access to a low carbon data center solution.
And that's not all; the electricity produced at the ETIX Bangkok#1 data center is set to increase through 2026 and 2027. This growth will be driven by the addition of new solar PV panel capacity, which will increase the electricity generated by solar panels at the data center by a factor of five.
