The mooncakes are meticulously crafted by skilled Hong Kong native chefs, resulting in a thin layer of pastry with a generous amount of unique and delicious fillings. They come in elegant packaging with prices ranging from 610 - 1,180 baht per box and are available for pre-orders from today until 31 July 2024.
For this year's Mid-Autumn Festival, "Hong Kong Fisherman", a legendary Chinese restaurant that serves Hong Kong-style delicacies for over 18 years under the supervision of Chef Chow Tai Shing, the Executive Chinese Chef with 40 years of experience, is offering homemade Hong Kong-style mooncakes that have a thin crust filled with various fillings and unique aroma. There are 10 flavors to choose from, while the package is a beautiful red box with a white sea wave design and an illustration of a fisherman which perfectly embodies the essence of Hong Kong Fisherman. The mooncakes are offered in 4-piece and 6-piece box sets.
The 4-piece box set is available in three options. "Set A" (720 baht) includes Hong Kong Sweet Lotus Seed with Salted Egg Yolk, Hong Kong Sweet Red Bean with Salted Egg Yolk, Monthong Durian with Salted Egg Yolk, and Jujube Paste. "Set B" (690 baht) comprises Hong Kong Lotus Seed, Hong Kong Sweet Red Bean, Monthong Durian, and Jujube Paste. "Set C" (610 baht) contains Monthong Durian, Jujube Paste, Green Tea, and Coffee.
The 6-piece box set comes in two options. "Set A" (950 baht) contains Hong Kong Sweet Lotus Seed with Salted Egg Yolk, Hong Kong Sweet Red Bean with Salted Egg Yolk, Monthong Durian with Salted Egg Yolk, Jujube Paste, Custard, and Green Tea. "Set B" (880 baht) includes Hong Kong Lotus Seed, Hong Kong Sweet Red Bean, Monthong Durian, Custard, Green Tea, and Coffee.
Meanwhile, "HEI YIN", an authentic Cantonese restaurant spearheaded by Hong Kong native Executive Chinese Chef Jacky Chan who has 40 years of culinary experience, proudly presents premium Hong Kong-style mooncakes in four flavors including "Xo Phe Custard with Salted Egg Yolk", using the same pastry recipe with traditional egg tart that gives unique aroma and taste, "Jujube Paste", which is not overly sweet, "Durian Paste", and "Lotus Seed Paste with Salted Egg Yolk". The mooncakes are packaged in an elegant octagonal green box with gold trim. The early bird offer is 1,180 baht per box, from the regular price of 1,388 baht.
