The University of Phayao places great emphasis on promoting the health and well-being of its staff. This is reflected in the university's strategic plan, which aligns with the SDG (Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being) and specifically aims to ensure a healthy lifestyle and well-being for all age groups. As part of this effort, the university organizes annual health examinations for its personnel. These examinations serve to detect any physical abnormalities at an early stage, allowing for timely treatment or prevention measures to be put in place. This not only provides staff with necessary healthcare, but also enables them to effectively fulfill their duties.
On June 26th, 2024, Associate Professor Supakorn Pongbangpho, President of the University of Phayao, presided over the opening ceremony of the health examination project for University of Phayao personnel for the year 2024 at the University of Phayao Hospital, School of Medicine. He was joined by Mr. Somthop Leksingha, Director of the Division of Personnel, who gave a report. The project saw active participation from both executives and university personnel in the health examinations. In this regard, health examinations have been arranged for University of Phayao personnel from June 19th to July 26th, 2024. A total of 1,890 personnel have registered to receive a health examination. The health examination program will be divided according to gender and age, with categories for those under 40 years old, 40-49 years old, and 50 years and older. The project is sponsored by Professor Dr. Sukit Pimanmas, Dean of the School of Medicine, and Dr. Krittin Naravetsakul, Director of the University of Phayao Hospital.
