The Nestle Healthy Family Caravan is an initiative to provide health and nutrition knowledge throughfun activities for Thais at all life stages. It visits communities nationwide to provide services such as body checkups, balanced diet recommendations, and guidance on reading nutrition labels. The caravan also encourages proper waste segregation in communities to promote a better environment. Visitors have the opportunity to win various prizes. The caravan aims to reach over 165,000 people in communities across Thailand.
Key highlights of the caravan's three activity zones include:
- Promoting a Balanced Diet: Select food suitable for one's health. A body check-up includes checking BMI, getting weighed, and measuring waist circumference, then receiving a leaflet with balanced diet tips and advice from nutritionists.
- Food Pairing Games: Learn to choose nutritious food that benefits both the body and mind in appropriate portions.
- Reading Nutrition Labels Game - "Read Well, Eat Well": Encourages Thai people nationwide to read nutrition information on packaging labels correctly. This will help them understand the nutritional value per unit, including the amount of energy, sugar, fat, and sodium, for appropriate consumption.
Promotes the use of recyclable packaging and encourages proper waste separation. Visitors can participate in the "Redeem Waste for Goods" activity by bringing used packaging such as Nestle Pure Life drinking water bottles and NESCAFE aluminum cans to exchange for rewards. They can also learn how to separate different types of waste, contributing to better waste management in the community.
Offers "Healthier Choice" products along with special food and drink menus at affordable prices. This includes various Nestle brands such as NESCAFE, MILO, MAGGI, and BEAR BRAND. Consumers buying products with Healthier Choice logo will get special gifts.
