depa is launching the online event, UNSEEN I SEE The Show Reel, a digital content creation competition to promote local tourist attractions and unique local products or delicacies. This event aims to attract foreign tourists, enhance community quality of life, and sustainably stimulate Thailand's economy. The total prize money amounts to 100,000 Baht.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Nuttapon Nimmanphatcharin, President/CEO of the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa), states that following the success of two previous projects, namely CONNEXION (which promotes digital content creators and digital influencers, vital professions in Thailand's e-commerce industry) and Digital Tourism (which promotes Thai tourism through digital platform), depa is now launching UNSEEN I SEE The Show Reel. The online event aims to further encourage the production of high-quality and creative digital content, showcasing Thai tourist attractions and products to a global audience, thereby attracting international tourists and boosting Thailand's digital and tourism industries.
"UNSEEN I SEE The Show Reel is an online competition for creating digital content in the form of VDO and Photo Albums, presenting new perspectives of Thai tourist attractions and reviewing local specialties or food. Participants will have the chance to win prizes totaling 100,000 Baht. This activity will transform your community into a trendy tourist destination while acting as a medium to spread local culture and lifestyles, such as cuisine, traditions, renowned products, and shopping spots. It promotes the application of digital technology or social media to raise awareness and distribute income within the community." said depa's President/CEO.
