TCP Group collaborates with Big C and partners for the "Get Free Drinks All Year Long, Let's Recycle Forever" campaign, promoting the "Drink-Separate-Get Reward" activity to restore energy to the world and get a chance to win prizes
TCP Group is collaborating with Big C and partners to energize our environment through the "Get Free Drinks All Year Long, Let's Recycle Forever" campaign, part of the "TCP WEnergy for the world" corporate initiative. This campaign encourages consumers to care for the environment and participate in the "Drink-Separate-Get Reward" lucky draw activity. By properly separating empty beverage packaging from TCP Group for recycling, participants have the chance to win gold, a year of free beverages, and special prizes worth over 170,000 baht throughout the campaign. This effort highlights TCP Group's sustainability goals of developing 100% recyclable beverage packaging in line with the principles of a circular economy and promoting correct waste separation behavior to enhance the recycling process.
Ms. Arjaree Suwangool, Corporate Affairs & Communications Department Director of TCP Group, said, "Under the 'TCP WEnergy for the world' campaign, TCP Group has continued its energizing activities, including the release of advertisements using reused footage and the eco-running event. We have recently expanded participation to a broader range of consumers by collaborating with partners like Big C, Durbell, and Grungthaigroup. Together, we organized the 'Get Free Drinks All Year Long, Let's Recycle Forever' campaign, emphasizing environmental care in every step of our business operation. We have supported the development of all types of beverage packaging to be 100% recyclable and encourage consumers to continuously care for the environment through simple steps by properly separating and disposing of waste at our packaging drop-off points located at participating Big C branches and other leading stores. Proper waste sorting supports efficient recycling, reduces landfill waste, and decreases environmental pollution. This initiative drives a circular economy and aims for sustainable environmental development."
Ms. Ornida Wimolwattanaphan, Acting First Executive Vice President - Commercial & Merchandising at Big C Supercenter Public Company Limited, said, "Big C believes that a successful business must align with the sustainable development, encompassing society, the environment, and governance, following the principles of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) to create a positive net impact and support growth and well-being for society. We are committed to supporting initiatives that drive sustainability goals, and are pleased to collaborate with TCP Group in providing a space for consumers to improve the environment by separating and disposing of waste at packaging drop-off points at 15 Big C branches in Bangkok and the surrounding areas. This initiative not only makes it easier for consumers to return packaging to the recycling process but also serves as an educational point for customers and the public to learn how to properly separate waste, contributing to a sustainable environment together.
