Robert Maurer Loeffler, Vice President Operations and General Manager at Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld, is pleased to announce the appointment of Francesco Carmelo Mino as the new Executive Pastry Chef for Research & Development (R&D). Chef Mino brings to the role a rich tapestry of culinary expertise, with over 25 years of experience in the pastry and baking industry across Italy, Brazil, the Middle East, Russia, and Vietnam.
In his illustrious career, Chef Francesco has held prestigious positions in some of the world's leading hotels and culinary institutions. His resume includes significant roles at The New World Saigon Hotel, WMC Central Kitchen Saigon, WMC's Reverie Saigon.
Notably, Chef Francesco led Team Italy to victory at the 2016 Pastry World Cup in Lyon, France, securing the Gold Medal. His leadership and culinary prowess were further recognised in 2017 when he served as president of the international jury for the Pastry World Cup. In 2018, Chef Mino continued to influence the global culinary scene as a VIP judge on MasterChef Vietnam.
