Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT) organized the AOT volunteer project to plant a forest in honor of His Majesty the King. On the occasion of the auspicious ceremony of His Majesty the King's 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary, 28 July 2024, at the upstream area above Vajiralongkorn Dam. Kanchanaburi Province With Dr. Keerati Kitmanawat, President and CEO of AOT and Lieutenant Thotsapon Chaikomin, Governor of Kanchanaburi Province, executives, employees, government agencies. and communities in Kanchanaburi province, more than 400 people, joined in planting forests in the project at the same time.

The trees that will be planted in this project include the honeycomb tree, which is an auspicious tree for King Rama X, and the Siamin teak tree. Trees in the Royal Initiative Plant Conservation Project which is a rare plant species with a longer lifespan of more than 1,500 years and the golden teak tree.
This project is in line with AOT's Sustainable Development Master Plan, which focuses on building environmental and social responsibility.
