The highlight of ZONE A: INSPIRED BY SCIENCE features numerous interesting exhibitions and activities designed to inspire and stimulate interest in science, technology, and innovation, especially among youth and the general public. In this zone, visitors can explore a wide array of advanced technologies, such as an immersive room offering a stunning light, sound, and color experience, seamlessly blending technology and art; AR/VR attractions providing realistic experiences; hologram booths utilizing AI technology; and intelligent robots that can interact with visitors. Additionally, there will be displays of modern scientific and technological equipment, such as multi-camera setups used in global music video productions like LISA's "ROCKSTAR" and 3D souvenir printers.
Beyond the exhibitions, there will be important talks and seminars, particularly the "Empowering Science Communication and Science Museums" event, which aims to build a collaborative network among science communication and museum agencies. Additionally, the Global Partnership Forum will be held to promote international cooperation. Thus, ZONE A not only showcases scientific and technological advancements but also aims to create a space for learning and exchanging ideas to stimulate the development and expansion of scientific knowledge in Thai society.
ZONE B: SCIENCE FOR LIFELONG LEARNING presents exhibitions on science for lifelong learning and future career skills. This zone provides a comprehensive overview of higher education and lifelong skill development, reflecting efforts to enhance educational quality and prepare learners for the future. It covers various topics related to education and skill development, divided into several subsections, such as Career for the Future, Upskill/Reskill for Thai, British Council, UVOLT, Lifelong Learning Technology and Innovation Transfer, STEMPlus, WOW Park, and Amazon Web Services.
A particularly interesting part is the Higher Education in Thailand or "Course Fair," which showcases various programs from 13 universities and one special project. These programs are divided into three main groups: Science and Technology, Health Sciences, and Humanities and Social Sciences. This new approach to developing higher education curricula, known as the Sandbox concept, focuses on creating educational innovations and allowing institutions to develop programs that flexibly and quickly meet the demands of the labor market and society. This represents a significant step forward in reforming higher education in Thailand.
Additionally, at the TCAS Station, information about the university admission system is showcased through an exhibition on TCAS and educational opportunities. It presents past performance data and introduces a project to reduce the burden of applying in the third round, along with interesting TCAS statistics. Various activities are organized, such as the daily talk "Conquer TCAS68," the "Peer Tutoring" activity offering exam tips and techniques, as well as lectures on preparing for TCAS and selecting preferences for the admission round. The TCAS Station is a crucial resource for students preparing to enter the university selection system, providing in-depth information and valuable advice for exam preparation and educational planning.
On the Main Stage, July 27, 2024, a variety of activities will take place. It will start with a presentation on "Information and Innovations in Spatial Water Management for Thailand's Future," showcasing the expansion of community-level water management in Trang Province. This will be followed by a special lecture on "How to Own Research and Innovation." In the afternoon, the excitement continues with the "SCI ROV Tournament 2024," featuring thrilling eSports competitions among top gamers. The evening will conclude with a mini concert by Palmy, offering a delightful performance of her well-loved songs, specially selected for this event and sure to be familiar and singable by all.
For the Mini Stage, a range of interesting activities is packed. It starts with a seminar on "Aesthetic-Taste" exploring the diverse flavors of Thai cuisine. This is followed by discussions on "Development and Promotion of Plasma Therapy Devices for Antibiotic-Resistant Infections" and "Innovations in Health and Medical Testing Kits." Additionally, there will be a presentation on the latest AI technologies from Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, and a seminar on "Unleashing Innovation with AI Powered by Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and How to Transform Industries." This is a great opportunity to gain new perspectives on using AI in various industries, including enhancing production efficiency.
The event will conclude with a special performance by the "Mahidol Brass" ensemble from Mahidol University, who will captivate the audience with beautiful music. Following that, Udon Thani Rajabhat University will present a seminar on "Elevating Community Textiles to the Global Stage: Circular Design Fashion," which focuses on sustainable and eco-friendly design concepts. This will be followed by a performance commemorating "103 Years of Phra Netrakrasong" by Pibulsongkram Rajabhat University, which will offer a reflective look at Thai history and culture. Finally, the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce will present a "Central Thai Traditional Music Performance" to provide attendees with a unique experience of traditional Thai art and culture.
