Thailand, led by Mr. Anupharp Kongmalai, Vice President of the Marketing Department, received the 2024 Carbon Footprint for Organization (CFO) certificate from the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization), or TGO, which was presented by Mr. Pongpanu Svetarundra, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization. The certification underscores the company's position as a leading retailer in home improvement and decorations, committed to socially and environmentally sustainable operations.
Mr. Anupharp Kongmalai, Vice President of the Marketing Department of MR. D.I.Y. Thailand, said, "MR. D.I.Y. has been operating in Thailand for over eight years with a commitment to promoting sustainability in Thai society. Therefore, we have established sustainability policies as a guideline for our internal operations to achieve meaningful sustainability through the valuable allocation of resources for maximum benefits. The Carbon Footprint for Organization initiative is also regarded as a key mission for us, supporting sustainability for both our company and the country. In recent years, MR. D.I.Y. has initiated a range of sustainable activities, such as installing solar energy systems at our warehouses and some of our stores and operating 100% EV forklifts in our warehouses and EV trucks for our internal transportation.
