“BEC STEP Challenge: A Step for Children” Opening New World for Children from the Bangkok School for the Blind at Phyathai Palace

On 8 August 2024, BEC World Public Company Limited and Channel 3 organized ?BEC STEP Challenge: A Step for Children? activity. At the event, Mr. Charkrit Direkwattanachai, EVP ? Corporate Affairs and Communications, Mrs. Paima Akaratawee, Acting EVP - Resource Management, and Ms. Supida Chatrapiruk, AVP ? CSR and Sustainability, along with 30 volunteer employees participated in the 650-meter walk to Phyathai Palace with 30 students from The Bangkok School for the Blind. The "BEC STEP Challenge: A Step for Children? activity initially aims to provide visually impaired students with an incredible opportunity to learn about the history, architectural style, and utilization of space around Phyathai Palace when vision isn't needed to explore the beautiful world. The event was led by acknowledgeable speaker throughout the tour.

The event was organized not only to support the Company?s employees and visually impaired student from The Bangkok School for the Blind?s health through walking, but also promote human rights, particularly educational equality, and social inclusion. Additionally, the event also showcased Thailand's soft power in art and architecture.
