Krungsri Auto joins forces with the Tourism Authority of Thailand to elevate the travel ecosystem through launch of Travel Buddy services on GO by Krungsri Auto Application

'Krungsri Auto?, a leader in automotive finance under Bank of Ayudhya PCL., is collaborating with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) to continue the expansion of their travel ecosystem to be more comprehensive and integrated with the launch of new services and exclusive privileges on GO Travel feature, positioning itself as a 'Travel Buddy? for automobile users. This initiative aims to create shared value in driving domestic tourism and stimulating spending within local communities.

Mr. Congsin Congcar, Head of Krungsri Auto Group, Bank of Ayudhya PCL., said, ?Krungsri Auto aims to become the No.1 choice for automobile users, beyond auto finance. Recently, we have expanded our ecosystem to become an all-in-one hub as an Auto User Ecosystem Aggregator. With more than 3.5 million users on GO by Krungsri Auto Application, we have utilized these insights to roll out the new 'Travel Buddy? services on GO Travel feature, covering all aspects of automobile users for tourism. In line with our mission to create a better everyday life for automobile users, our collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) creates shared value by supporting the direction to drive domestic tourism. This initiative will not only increase wealth for our tourism business partners and automobile users but also generate new revenue streams for Krungsri Auto in the future.?

Ms. Somradee Chitchong, Deputy Governor for Domestic Marketing, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), said, ?In 2024, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has set a domestic tourism target to 200 million Thai visitors-times under 'Instant Happiness? campaign, promoting happiness in domestic tourism and encouraging Thai people to travel within the country all year round. We have joined forces with Krungsri Auto to create an experiential happiness for road trips within the country through different routing recommendations such as Happiness Routes, Auspicious Routes, and Rainy Season Routes for automobile users within Krungsri Auto ecosystem, while stimulating spending in all regions of Thailand and generating domestic tourism revenue to reach the target of 1.08 trillion baht.?

The 'Travel Buddy? services on GO Travel feature offer information on tourist attractions, 10 recommended routes in charming cities, a personalized trip planner using Google Maps navigation connected via Apple CarPlay and Google CarPlay, hotel bookings via OTAs, special privileges covering eating, drinking, and traveling, and auto-related services under GO by Krungsri Auto Application including auto maintenance, EV charging stations, and daily fuel price updates.

Currently, GO Travel feature has harbored more than 80,000 users and is joined by more than 100 travel and retail partners, helping to stimulate spending and distribute over 3 million baht to local communities since its launch last December. By 2024, Krungsri Auto has set a target for GO Travel feature to reach an average of 200,000 users per month by adding 30 routes in charming cities, launching a Personalized Trip Advisor service tailored to users' preferences, and expanding collaborations with government agencies, state enterprises, automotive and lifestyle-related businesses, car rental services and dealers, tourism businesses, and insurance companies to enhance wealth and create shared value across all sectors.
