In collaboration with the companies under Charoen Pokphand Group, including CP ALL, CP Freshmart, Makro, Tra Chatr jasmine rice, CP-Meiji, and True Corporation, Charoen Pokphand Foods PCL (CPF), has launched the "CPF Deliver Food from the Heart for Flood Relief" project. The initiative aims to provide immediate relief and support to communities affected by the floods in Northern Thailand.
CP volunteers delivered food supplies and drinking water to relief flood victims. The supplies included 400 kilograms of chicken, 400 kilograms of pork, 12,000 fresh eggs, 12,000 bottles of drinking water, 2,000 kilograms of Trat Chatr Rice, ready-to-eat meals, and 1,000 relief kits. The aid supplies were hands over to Nong Khai Governor, Chainarong Wongyai and related government agencies to be used at 10 community kitchens for cooking ready to eat meal for flood-affected resident in Nong Khai province
In Chiang Rai Province, Puttipong Sirimat, Chiang Rai Governor, received fresh food aids from CPF representatives, including pork, chicken meat, duck meat, fresh eggs, as well as drinking water. These supplies will be delivered to the Royal Thai Army's Field Hospital and Kitchen under the patronage of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.
Additionally, Volunteers from Five Star Business in the Northern has distributed rice and drinking water to the Chiang Rai Provincial Hall and Dok Khamtai Municipality in Phayao Province.
CPF extends its "CPF Deliver Food from the Heart for Flood Relief" project to provide swift and urgent support to additional flood-affected areas in the region. This initiative aims to ensure that flood affected people have access to high-quality, hygienic food and essential supplies during this challenging period.
