The hotel is poised to serve as a well-being hub in the heart of the city.
Dusit Thani Public Company Limited (DUSIT), or Dusit International, one of Thailand's leading hotel and property development companies, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, Thai Red Cross Society (KCMH), to integrate world-class medical services with luxurious hospitality at Dusit Suites Hotel Ratchadamri, Bangkok.
Located in the heart of the city on a peaceful, leafy avenue opposite the green expanse of the Royal Bangkok Sports Club, only 100 metres from Ratchadamri BTS station and five minutes by car from KCMH, Dusit Suites Hotel Ratchadamri, Bangkok comprises 97 expansive one- and two-bedroom suites and a wide range of lifestyle facilities. This includes a free-form swimming pool, sauna, well-equipped gym, and a Dusit Gourmet outlet serving nutritious, hearty meals. Dusit's unique brand of Thai-inspired gracious hospitality informs the personalised service.
Under the terms of the MOU, DUSIT and KCMH will work together to transform selected rooms at Dusit Suites Hotel Ratchadamri, Bangkok, into a luxurious well-being hub where KCMH patients scheduled for routine screenings, such as colonoscopies, can stay and relax in maximum comfort before and after their appointments.
"We are deeply honoured and excited to partner with King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital in creating a luxury healthcare experience for their esteemed patients," said Ms Suphajee Suthumpun, Group CEO, DUSIT. "Dusit Suites Hotel Ratchadamri, Bangkok, offers the perfect setting for patients to rest and relax in comfort and tranquillity. By combining our expertise in hospitality with the hospital's medical excellence, we aim to provide a truly exceptional experience that goes beyond traditional healthcare."
In addition to offering a luxurious recovery environment at Dusit Suites Hotel Ratchadamri, Bangkok, DUSIT plans to provide five-star hospitality training to KCMH staff through Dusit Hospitality Services (DHS) - a subsidiary specialising in hospitality training, consultancy, and property management. This will help enhance the overall patient experience at the hospital and elevate service quality across the board.
DUSIT will also leverage the culinary expertise of its teams at The Food School (Thailand's first multinational culinary institute) to consult on nutrition and dietetics at KCMH and create nutritious, personalised meal options for patients staying at the hotel. Plans are also underway to harness the capabilities of DUSIT's food business unit, Dusit Foods, to create healthy meal plans that can be served at the hospital in the future.
"By combining our strengths in hospitality and culinary innovation with King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital's expertise in medical services, we are creating a synergy that will allow us to deliver a comprehensive range of wellness solutions together," said Ms Suthumpun. "We look forward to a fruitful collaboration with KCMH as we strive to position Dusit Hospitality Services and Dusit Suites Hotel Ratchadamri, Bangkok, as leaders in integrated healthcare and wellness experiences."
