Mr. Pornvit Sila-On, Deputy Director-General of the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), and Mr. Sumed Prasongpongchai, Director General of the Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand (GIT), hosted the Networking Reception at the 70th Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair. The event took place at the Plenary Hall of the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), gathering a significant number of entrepreneurs from Thailand's jewelry industry and international organizations.
Mr. Pornvit Sila-On remarked, "Despite global economic challenges, Thailand's gem and jewelry industry continues to grow, as does the Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair in all aspects. The Networking Reception is one of the event's highly anticipated highlights, offering exhibitors, industry leaders, VIPs, embassy representatives, and trade promotion offices worldwide the opportunity to connect and form new business networks. Attendees can also admire masterpieces specifically selected for this occasion. DITP hopes this event will further strengthen the fair's position as a world-class gem and jewelry destination. Additionally, we are pleased to announce our plans for 2025, which include expanding the exhibition area in the foyer of the LG level and adjusting the booth layout to accommodate over 150 additional booths."
Mr. Sumed Prasongpongchai, Director General of GIT, added, "The Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair is eagerly awaited by buyers worldwide, offering the chance to meet quality manufacturers from Thailand and beyond. It is a key international trade platform for the gem and jewelry industry, where the latest news and trends are shared. GIT, as a co-organizer, hopes that the 70th edition of the fair will impress attendees as it has in the past."
