Mazda launches the "MAZDA U.S. COLLEGE PREP JUNIOR GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP 2024" project, which is a leading universal project organized exclusively for Mazda car owners and their families to discover and give opportunity to the best-performing youth golfers to compete in the international competition stage. The winner from final round will receive scholarships for their pathway as a professional golfer. In addition, the "MAZDA EXCLUSIVE TOURNAMENT 2024", another initiative is organized to offer Mazda families exclusive opportunities to enjoy golf outings, along with providing numerous benefits to customers. The competitions of the two projects will take place on October 4, 2024 at Alpine Golf Club. The press conference saw a full attendance of both male and female youth, co-sponsors, representatives from Thailand Golf Association (TGA), professional golfers, and honorable guests at Alpine Golf Club in Pathum Thani province.
Mr. Thee Permpongpanth, Executive Vice President of Mazda Sales (Thailand) Co., Ltd said, the "MAZDA U.S. COLLEGE PREP JUNIOR GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP 2024" project was inspired by Mazda's desire to help fulfill the dreams of young Thai male and female who are passionate about golf to show their talents on leading international golf courses and push their abilities to advance level. In the meantime, the "MAZDA EXCLUSIVE TOURNAMENT 2024" was also initiated to provide exclusive privilege to Mazda family to participate in special golf tournament, which is the event that Mazda is dedicated to organizing as an appreciation for customers who have chosen Mazda vehicles as their trusted companions throughout their journeys.
Promoting and enhancing the potential of individuals, especially youth, by giving them opportunities to pursue their passions?particularly in sports?is a priority for Mazda. The "MAZDA U.S. COLLEGE PREP JUNIOR GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP 2024" is an initiative organized by Mazda in collaboration with partners to offer exclusive benefits to Mazda families who are passionate about golf. It provides them with the opportunity to pursue their dreams and career as a professional golfer. In July, the registration was opened for 46 youths (25 boys and 21 girls) to participate in the "qualifying round" scheduled on Friday, October 4, 2024, at Alpine Golf Club in Pathum Thani province. The top 16 performers in each competition category will qualify for the final round of the "MAZDA U.S. COLLEGE PREP JUNIOR GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP 2024," which will be held in November 2024. Importantly, coaches from leading universities in the United States will join the event and observe the skills of each participant. Outstanding youth players will have the opportunity to receive scholarships to pursue a professional golf career. Moreover, 50%of the golfers who performed well in the CHAMPIONSHIP round will be selected to travel to the United States for further competition.
In addition to providing youths with the opportunity to progress towards a career as a professional golfer on a global stage, Mazda has also launched another special initiative to offer exclusive privileges to Mazda families. The "MAZDA EXCLUSIVE TOURNAMENT 2024" is the project which Mazda invites Mazda owners and their families to enjoy a golf outing and participate in exclusive activities. Mazda has opened registration for 46 Mazda vehicles, totaling 89 golfers, to compete on Friday, October 4, 2024, at Alpine Golf Club in Pathum Thani province. Since the project has been opened for registration the last of July, over 100 Mazda owners expressed interest in the event, and the list of selected participants has already been announced.

At the event, Mazda has join a collaboration with Adidas, Taylormade, Singha Corporation, The Agency College Recruit (AR), and Miss Preaw Sripatrprasite - Pro golfer and Miss Tourism Thailand 2020 titleholder to organize golf clinic activity for youth attending the press conference. The activity is instructed by professional golfers to provide knowledge and instruction on golf driving and putting skills. Additionally, another seminar session will be organized by U.S. College representatives to provide athletes with detailed information about the project, benefits for participants and winners for the JWCI (Junior World Cup Invitational 2025), and further details about the "MAZDA U.S. COLLEGE PREP JUNIOR GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP 2024". This is to prepare them for the upcoming qualifying round on Friday, October 4, 2024.
