The Digital Economy Promotion Agency or depa invites community groups and technicians across Thailand to apply for the fourth round of 1 Tambon 1 Digital (Chumchon Drone Jai) Project. This initiative seeks to advance and support the integration of drone technology in agriculture while enhancing skills in drone piloting and maintenance for agricultural purposes. The primary aim is to create new employment opportunities, promote the widespread adoption of digital technologies within communities, improve business efficiency, and increase productivity, thereby establishing a sustainable model for competitive business development.
To be eligible for the 1 Tambon 1 Digital (Chumchon Drone Jai) Project, community group applicants must comprise members from the local community who are registered or established to engage in activities such as production, trade, or services within their community. The group's registration or establishment must be certified by a government agency or a legally recognized entity, such as a community enterprise, village fund, cooperative, community organization council, or large-scale agricultural group, with a membership of at least 20 households. Technician applicants must either operate a service shop within the community or possess technical expertise and aim to establish a business offering maintenance and repair services for agricultural drones within the community.
