Thai Credit Bank Public Company Limited has been awarded the Outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Award for 2024 by the Department of Social Development and Welfare, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security. Ms. Krisana Aramkulchai, Director, represented the Bank in receiving the award from Mr. Varawut Silpa-archa, Minister of Social Development and Human Security, on September 23, 2024, at the Impact Forum Building, Muang Thong Thani.
This award reflects the Bank's commitment to sustainable business practices, considering environmental, social, and governance (ESG) impacts alongside business growth. Thai Credit Bank met key selection criteria such as the collaboration on CSR initiatives with agencies under the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, demonstrating notable CSR achievements both internally and externally that align with the ISO 26000 on social responsibility and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The Bank's flagship project, "Tang To Know-how," which enhances financial literacy and skills for small entrepreneurs and the general public, has been operating for eight consecutive years with over 200,000 participants nationwide, demonstrating the Bank's long-term commitment to creating positive social impact.
In addition, Thai Credit Bank prioritises on creating shared values between the organisation and society through environmentally responsible operations, community development, and fair employee treatment with outstanding CSR performances over the past five years (2019-2024), aligning with the award's evaluation criteria.
This recognition affirms Thai Credit Bank's commitment to being a financial institution that plays a crucial role in sustainably developing the country's economy, society, and environment, in line with the Bank's philosophy of "Everyone Matters."
