IMPACT Growth REIT reveals major progress as the Board approves IMPACT Live Nation Co., Ltd., a joint venture between IMPACT and Live Nation Entertainment, to lease the IMPACT Arena's building and land for a long-term period of 20 years. This move supports a stable revenue base, ensures continuous income recognition, and reinforces the use of the exhibition center for world-class trade shows, conferences, and concerts.
Recently, the Board meeting of RMI Co., Ltd., as a REIT manager of IMPACT Growth REIT, has approved IMAPCT Live Nation Co., Ltd. (a joint venture between IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd. and Live Nation Entertainment) to lease the IMPACT Arena's building and land. This ensures stable rental income recognition for a long-term period of 20 years. A unitholders' meeting is scheduled for Friday, November 8, 2024, at 10:00 AM, to be held via electronic means.
Mr. Paul Kanjanapas, Chief Executive Officer of IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd., as a property manager of IMPACT Growth REIT, stated that this move built upon the strengths of IMPACT Growth REIT, which owned Thailand's largest convention and exhibition center. By partnering with Live Nation Entertainment, a global entertainment and venue operator company, they aim to invigorate IMPACT Arena and support Thailand in becoming a key country for global concert destinations.
Ms. Wanphen Mungpiansaku, Managing Director of RMI Co., Ltd., said that the Company's Board meeting, in its capacity as the REIT manager of IMPACT Growth REIT, has approved IMPACT Live Nation Co., Ltd. to lease the IMPACT Arena's building and land for a long-term period of 20 years. This is seen as an opportunity to expand strategic partnerships that will strengthen operational performance through stable rental income and the chance to leverage the strengths of both parties together.
IMPACT Growth REIT invested in the ownership of exhibition and convention center properties. RMI Co., Ltd. serves as the REIT manager, IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd. functions as the property manager, and Kasikorn Asset Management Co., Ltd. acts as the trustee.
Currently, IMPACT has invested in four properties within the IMPACT Muang Thong Thani complex: IMPACT Arena, IMPACT Challenger (Halls 1-3), IMPACT Forum (Hall 4), and IMPACT Exhibition Center (Halls 5-12). These assets collectively span a total area of 479,761 square meters, offering a net exhibition space of 122,165 square meters.
