Dimitri Logothetis, the visionary director and producer, along with co-producer Rob Hickman, is excited to announce the production of Kickboxer III: Armageddon, set for filming in Thailand in 2025.
The latest entry in the iconic Kickboxer franchise, which began in 1989, will star martial arts sensation Alain Moussi and action superstar Scott Adkins. Adkins, celebrated for his intense martial arts performances, will play a leading role in the film along side Moussi, promising to bring unparalleled action and energy to the screen. Adding to the excitement, UFC superstar Jorge Masvidal will also join the cast, further elevating the film's connection to real-world combat sports and ensuring explosive, authentic action sequences.
The official announcement of the film as well as a "secret surprise" will take place during a spectacular Super Fight Night at one of Thailand's most famous boxing stadiums, showcasing the synergy between Hollywood's original 1989 Kickboxer film which brought Muay Thai to the world, starring Jean Claude Van Damme and Thailand's rich combat sports tradition. This high-profile event will spotlight Muay Thai's continuing global significance, serving as a monumental moment for both the film and the sport.
Kanda Phommanan, Thai associate producer will be liaison between Hollywood and Thai film production, ensuring that the film stays true to its Thai roots and fosters strong collaboration between both industries.
