SCB and Ministry of Public Health Sign

Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) and the Ministry of Public Health have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the "Digital Health Transformation (DHT)" initiative. This initiative aims to promote the exchange and development of knowledge in digital innovation for Ministry of Public Health personnel, preparing them for the transition to a digital health system. This aligns with SCB's "Digital Bank with a Human Touch" strategy, which focuses on developing technology and the potential of personnel, as well as lifelong learning.

Mr. Worawat Suvagondha, First Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer at Siam Commercial Bank, stated that this collaboration with the Ministry of Public Health stems from the recognition of the importance of developing knowledge and skills in both digital technology and holistic management concepts, including life skills, to create quality personnel in society. SCB Academy will play a crucial role in developing courses and activities through the e-Learning system on the "Phonlamuangdee" platform, which will convey the digital and soft skills necessary for current public health personnel.

SCB Academy has initiated projects to continuously deliver knowledge and skills to employees and society. Over the past 5-6 years, the bank has focused on developing digital and essential skills so that people can apply them in their daily lives and work effectively. The courses to be implemented in collaboration with the Ministry include:

Four main skills to develop the potential of medical personnel:

  • Digital technology skills: "Do less, get more"; learning without basic knowledge
  • Self-management skills: Learning management, emotional management, and problem-solving skills to adapt to changing situations
  • Thinking skills: Critical and creative thinking skills to effectively use technology in the AI era
  • Collaborative skills: Work with others and complete tasks quickly for diverse creativity

SCB is pleased to collaborate with the Ministry of Public Health in developing a Training Road Map for personnel in both online and on-site learning formats. The main model used in development is to enhance basic knowledge through online role-based training courses, workshop activities, and the design and monitoring of learning outcomes in collaboration with the Ministry. This aims to create quality processes and promote digital skills development for personnel, contributing to a positive impact on Thailand's health service system in a sustainable manner.
