Another noteworthy aspect of these New Year's BRAND'S baskets is the cooperation with Fuanglada Verdillon of Janfive Studio, who was inspired by nature to create original artwork. She created a unique BRAND'S basket design using a peony pattern, the king of flowers, which represents young people's love and happiness and is associated with good fortune, honesty, wealth, and sweetness but also strength. With inspiration from the Japanese gift-giving culture, which tends to use cloth for wrapping rather than a wrapping paper, the company has also developed a Furoshiki gift set with wrapping cloth featuring patterns of pine, bamboo, and plum, which are symbols of good fortune and perseverance. The wrapping cloth can be used to decorate bag handles, worn as a scarf, or styled as an accessary for clothing.
