"HOP INN", a budget hospitality network operated and developed by Erawan Hop Inn Company Limited, with more than 70 branches in Thailand, the Philippines, and Japan, affiliate of "The Erawan Group" continues its 2nd "HOP NextGen" initiative at Ratchaburi Technical College.
On November 26, 2024, Ms. Rungthip Phenphan, Vice President, Sustainability Development and Corporate Communication Division, The Erawan Group Public Company Limited (SET: ERW), together with HOP INN Thailand's executives and employees, shared valuable insights and guidance on career paths in the hospitality and service industry to Vocational Certificate (Voc. Cert.) students who majored in hospitality.
It was also an honour to have Mr. Akhom Chanang, Deputy Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Ratchaburi Office, shared an interactive class of fun fact and travel tips of Ratchaburi in the morning session. Mr. Chumphon Khamthian, Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Department at Ratchaburi Technical College, along with Ms. Kitchiya Uengthong, Head of the Hotel Department, and other faculty members, warmly welcomed the group and participated in activities with the students.
On this occasion, Ms. Wachareewan Uengpho, Operations Manager, and Ms. Wararat Pinbodesewin, Assistance Learning and Development Manager, HOP INN Thailand, shared their career experiences in the hotel industry to guide those new generation of students in their internships and professional careers, prepared for the growing tourism sector in the future. In the afternoon, the group visited HOP INN Ratchaburi, which newly opened in 2024, to learn about customer experience techniques under HOP INN's commitment - "Consistency is Yours." The site-visit was led by Ms. Suthinee Boonsenan, HOP INN Ratchaburi's Hotel Manager, and Ms. Chantana Phuyaanont, Housekeeping Supervisor.
HOP NextGen is a full-day career guidance program that allows young people to develop their potential in their respective fields. Students gain direct knowledge from industry operators and experts in the tourism and service industries. They are also given the opportunity to visit businesses and learn about operations in real-life environments. The program is organized for educational institutions across the country to help develop youth potential, encourage social and environmental responsibility, and enhance the sustainable growth of the tourism industry in the future.
